While I was working in postproduction studio Lunapak in Warsaw I was approached by Alek Panfilov asking me if I would be interested in creating Stopklatka TV, new polish TV channel, idents. I accepted his invitation without hesitation.
Stopklatka in polish means movie/video still frame. So the main channel 30 sec video ident was based on the movie still frame concept, where we animated kind of still frames from the movies.
My role was to bring to live the stroryboad created by Alek. I was provided with 3d models and my job was R&D the overall look, similate the particles and clouds, animate the scenes, shade and light them and also render them out. As a two man team, with Alek I was also responsible for compositing part.
